Make December Your Most Productive Month of 2016

Persistency, consistency, discipline, urgency and excitement are the foundation of success in network marketing. That means doing the work even through the last month of 2016 and busy holidays of Christmas and New Years! Did you know that this is the time of year network marketing companies traditionally see a spike in sales and enrollments? People are beginning to review their year and see how they can make next year better financially, physically, and mentally. That is why it is important for you to be available to offer something that might be the right fit for them.

So how do you stay focused in your efforts during the most distracting time of the year? Today I’ll give you five of my top tips I give my team to stay focused and driven through the last month of the year:

ORGANIZATION IS THE FOUNDATION TO GET THE REST OF YOUR LIFE IN GEAR

As you know in this business, time IS money – so anything you can do right now to get more organized and productive can help you bring in more sales and incomer. It’s a short term investment of time, for a long term payoff!

Write everything down, keep your calendar, prospect list and good attitude close by.  Intentionally block out personal time and work time so you can do the profit producing activities you know you must do.

If it’s written on your calendar you are much more likely to actually do it.  So give yourself a gift by planning and scheduling time to be productive.

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE THE BEST LISTENERS

This is the time of year when you will be attending countless parties and reuniting with family and friends. This is NOT your perfect opportunity to practice your perfect business pitch. This IS however the perfect opportunity to practice listening. Have questions ready and start conversations. See how you can authentically help people. If there is potential with someone, make sure you get contact information, follow up, and invite them to the next holiday event.

Compliment people. Magnify their strengths. Do it sincerely and with no desire to gain anything but to help people achieve their goals and ambitions. Magnificent things can happen if you are willing to be present and open to everyone.

REST IS NOT A LUXURY, IT’S A NECESSITY

During this busy holiday season, lack of sleep is a common occurrence, but if you have goals for the rest of the year it shouldn’t be. Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your health and performance with your business. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times helps you function well throughout the day. People who are sleep deficient are less productive at work and school. They take longer to finish tasks and are less motivated.

PROPER PREPARATION PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE

Whoever said, “You never get a second chance to make a first impression,” was absolutely right. You will be attending many events where you will be seeing new faces. Judgments about your professionalism, your character and your competence are often based on first impressions.

Do you have answers to many common questions people will ask you: “What do you do for work?” probably followed by “How did you get into that industry?” or something more simple like “What are your hobbies?”

“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” -Benjamin Franklin

YOU ONLY WIN WHEN YOU HELP OTHERS WIN

This time of year is hard for EVERYONE, so why not create an environment of encouragement with your team by be accountable to each other. Write down your goals for the remainder of the year and share them with others. Ask them to hold you accountable.

Just remember that you don’t have to get it perfect, you just need to get started. Prepare yourself for a successful 2017 by maintaining your focus through the end of 2016. I wish you all the success you believe you deserve and are willing to work for! ~XO Deni
